Dicentra plants are an old fashioned favorite that is no less charming today than it was in grandma's garden. These spring beauties form bigger and bigger clumps each year. Alba is a classic pure white strain, and Valentine is a more vibrant red than the species form that we see more often. Shade tolerant but can also grow in full sun with ample water in cooler climates. Asexual propagation of 'Valentine' is prohibited.
They also make charming cut flowers.
