The Blue Vein Sweet Pea: This unusual variety combines genes of Lathyrus belinensis and Lathyrus odoratus producing some intriguing results. The flowers open in a soft orange shade and then gradually develop blue veining as the flowers mature. While fun for cutting, they are perhaps best suited to garden use where their color transition can be fully appreciated. A collectors plant. Lightly fragrant.
