We produce top quality cut flowers on our farm in Vermont’s picturesque Northeast Kingdom. While we are known for our raununculus, anemones, sweet peas and peonies, we grow more than 100 varieties throughout our cool season. With the help of our unheated greenhouse, we produce flowers May through October.
Bailey owned and operated an award winning floral design studio in Philadelphia for 10 years, and has been working as a florist and designer for more than 15 years. We are thrilled to finally be growing and designing with our own sustainably produced flowers. Full Service Weddings
Let us take care of your complete floral décor on your big day. This can include any combination of bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, ceremony décor and much more. We can even custom grow your favorite flowers for your event with enough notice. When your wedding falls outside of our main season, we will supplement our own flowers with flowers grown by other small scale sustainable New England farmers whenever possible. We will also import sustainably grown flowers from California and Holland when necessary. We do not use flowers from parts of the world where poor labor and environmental practices are commonplace.
Full service wedding floral design start at a minimum of $2,000, not including tax and delivery.
‘a la carte’ Weddings
For the smaller scale wedding not requiring full service attention, we do offer ‘a al carte’ options. Bouquets, boutonnieres, and centerpieces can all be custom designed to your specifications, and picked up on our farm. For weekend weddings, pick up must be made on Fridays only. Delivery is not available for ‘a la carte’ customers. There is no minimum purchase for ‘a la carte’ service.
Flowers for DIY brides
On a very limited basis, within some rigid guidelines, we can provide flowers for you to create your own arrangements and bouquets. Due to our short and unpredictable growing season, DIY flowers are only available July 15-September 1. If your event falls within that timeframe, simply contact us to let us know you are interested, and we will email a price list to you the week before your wedding. We do not guarantee the availability of any certain flower or any certain color. Most flowers are sold by the 10-stem bunch, and range in price from $10.00-$35.00 per bunch depending on the flower and variety.
Flowers are to be picked up on the farm on Thursday or Friday afternoons only. Your order will be cut and bunched and in buckets in our cooler ready for your pickup. If you do not have your own buckets, there will be a charge of $5 per bucket you take away. Not every flower you see on our farm is available for sale, and you may not cut or select your own flowers. DIY customers should have a basic working knowledge of how to care for and design with flowers, have their own tools and containers, and have access to a cool work and storage space to maintain flower quality. Design time and advice is not included with DIY flowers. DIY flowers are considered a retail sale and are subject to state sales tax.
Notes on Pricing
Pricing varies widely depending on flower choice, design style, and scale of your event. Price ranges for each type of piece have been listed as a tool to help you with rough budget planning. While numerous factors affect the final price, the minimum pricing would generally be for a wedding in July, August or September when we are harvesting our largest selection of flowers, and the client has some flexibility in their flower choice. Weddings outside of our main harvest season will require some amount of imported flowers and the price may need to increase accordingly. Large pieces (think ballroom weddings) or labor intensive designs may also increase pricing.
Based upon our phone or face-to-face consultation a customized estimate will be prepared for you. Pricing is guaranteed at the time the contract is signed and the 50% non-refundable payment is made.
Bridal Bouquet - $150 (minimum) to $350 and up
Bridesmaids Bouquet - $85 (minimum) to $200 and up
Boutonnieres and Corsages - $20 to $40 each
Centerpieces - $125 (minimum) to $300 and up
Large Urns or other statement pieces - $250 (minimum) to $400 and up
Ceremony décor (chuppah, arches, canopies, etc) - $500 (minimum) to $3000 and up
Delivery - $100-500 and up depending on distance traveled, complexity of set up and additional hired labor.
We have a large stock of containers for your event. Generally they are treated as rental items and are included in the price of the arrangement. They need to be returned or picked up in good condition following your wedding to avoid additional charges. “Take home” containers can also be an option if you would like to send your guests home with your flowers at the end of your event.
