Welcome, flower gardeners, to Ardelia Farm!

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a big beautiful brunch buffet in our recently renovated event barn, with an assortment of sweet and savory pastries, frittata, biscuits, cakes, fresh fruit, local organic yogurt, bread and cheese, good coffee, juices, and so much more. After a leisurely meal, you will experience a hands-on bulb workshop led by our own Farmer Bailey!

It's never too early to start planning and planting for spring, and you will leave this educational brunch with a solid understanding of how the pros raise tulips and daffodils for spring cutting. We will dive deep into the many different types of tulips and daffodils as well as some lesser know bulbs, such as allium, hyacinth, muscari, and more, perfect for your cutting garden. After an informal yet highly informative talk by Bailey, followed by a hands-on demonstration of how best to plant bulbs to optimum stem length, each participant will leave with a curated collection of 100 bulbs to plant in your own garden. In addition, we will also have a wide assortment of more than 60 cutting varieties of tulips and daffodils available for purchase. These are the same bulbs we use on our farm to produce our bulb-grown flowers throughout May.

While it is not required that you get dirty, you will have the opportunity to help plant a bed of tulips for cutting, so dress accordingly!

Attendeed can plan to arrive anytime between 10-11, with the bulb workshop beginning at 12.

*Do note that our farm is a real working farm, and not a showplace. Our barns are rickety, there is chicken poop aplenty, our home is not gorgeous, and you may even spot a rubbish pile here or there. But we love it. We appreciate its beauty each and every day, and we look forward to sharing it with you.

Upon purchasing your tickets, you will receive an automated confirmation email. And then a day or two before the event, we will email again with a few more details about the day (step-by-step directions, where to park, etc.).

This event is rain or shine.
