Welcome, coffee lovers, to Ardelia Farm!

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by a big beautiful brunch buffet in our recently renovated event barn, with an assortment of sweet and savory pastries, frittata, biscuits, cakes, fresh fruit, local organic yogurt, bread and cheese, good coffee, juices, and so much more.

After a leisurely meal, you will have the opportunity to take yourself on a self-guided tour of our farm, where you can meet the pigs and poultry, explore our three greenhouses, stroll through the nursery and flower fields, all of which are chockablock full of flowers. Bring your camera!

Upon returning to the party barn, we'll all be treated to a gourmet coffee experience with celebrity guests Magda and Nate Van Dusen of Burlington-based Brio Coffeeworks. The duo will treat us to a proper coffee tasting, called a "cupping". From grinding and brewing to sniffing and slurping, we'll learn how the experts taste and talk about coffee, breaking it down to aroma, taste, and mouthfeel; we will also learn how growing region, climate, and altitude all affect the final product. Lastly, we'll enjoy a hands-on coffee roasting demonstration as Magda & Nate take us on a journey from seed to cup, showing us what it takes to turn the green seed of a tropical shrub into the beautiful, sultry beverage

All attendees will be sent home with a bag of Brio coffee beans.

Attendees should plan to arrive between 10-11, with the cupping beginning at 12.

*Do note that our farm is a real working farm, and not a showplace. Our barns are rickety, there is chicken poop aplenty, our home is not gorgeous, and you may even spot a rubbish pile here or there. But we love it. We appreciate its beauty each and every day, and we look forward to sharing it with you.

Upon purchasing your tickets, you will receive an automated confirmation email. And then a day or two before the event, we will email again with a few more details about the day (step-by-step directions, where to park, etc.).

This event is rain or shine.
